No one expected this Quarter-Final games to be such a close one. Boca Seniors, the #1 seed just squeaked by in this 1-point game to beat the #8 seed, The Hash Slinging Slashers. It’s week 7 and The Hash Slinging Slashers have only scored a total of 5 goals all season. This game ended in a final score of 2-1 in favor of Boca Seniors Bernard Odonnell scored the only goal for The Hash Slinging Slashers to prevent the shutout, while Ali Stahlke and Evan Baker scored the two goals for Boca Seniors. On the bright side for The Hash Slinging Slashers, this loss means they can save their legs and recharge for next season. EY (1-5-2) vs. Greater Than Gang (4-4) – Saturday, June 08, 2019

In this exciting 1-point Quarter-Final games, EY, the #7 seed upset the #4 seed, Greater Than Gang in another close game, winning 2-1. Caroline Olivero scored the only goal for Greater Than Gang to get their team on the board, while EY took home the win behind goals from Mayank Puri and Matt Kobunski. Man Back Hair City (2-4-1) vs. Retired Has-Beens (5-3) – Saturday, June 08, 2019

The #3 seed, Retired Has-Beens, forfeited to the #6 seed, Man Back Hair City in this Quarter-Final game. The forfeit puts Retired Has-Beens in third place in the standings table. Retired Has-Beens had a run this season, but they will not be advancing to the next round of playoffs. This win advanced Man Back Hair City to semi-finals, which was played as a double header. Man Chest Hair City (5-2-1) vs. INDY Team #8 (3-5) – Saturday, June 08, 2019

No one expected this Quarter-Final games to be such a close one. Man Chest Hair City, the #2 seed just squeaked by in this 1-point game to beat the #5 seed, INDY Team #8 1-0. The only goal of the game came from Jean Pierre Valencia, which ended up being the decisive score. This win advanced Man Chest Hair City to semi-finals, which was played as a double header. Man Chest Hair City (5-2-1) vs. Boca Seniors (6-1) – Saturday, June 08, 2019

In this Semi-Final game, the #1 seed, Boca Seniors, took on the #2 seed, Man Chest Hair City and lost 2-0. Boca Seniors had two games this week. They lost both matches dropping them to the #1 rank in the standings. The semi-final win, behind goals from Jean Pierre Valencia and Dorothy Yang, for Man Chest Hair City advanced them to the championship game. Man Back Hair City (2-4-1) vs. EY (1-5-2) – Saturday, June 08, 2019

It was an exciting Semi-Final matches, in which the #6 seed, Man Back Hair City, squeaked by with a 1-point win against the #7 seed, EY, with a final score of 2-1.The exciting win for Man Back Hair City advanced them to the championship game, and they achieved this win behind scoring from Nick Seng and Emily.  EY had two games this week. If they had only this game, it might have been a different result, and they now sit in 7th place in the standings. Mayank Puri scored the only goal for EY to get their team on the board. EY is done for the season and we hope to see them return for the start of the new league coming up soon.
