Spring 2019 Monday Lincoln Park Turf Coed Rec Flag Football – Week 3

Nasty Narwhals (2-1) v. Pics or it didn’t happen (0-2-1) – Monday, April 15, and 2019

Nasty Narwhals and Pics or it didn’t happen competed in an absolute shoot-out, totaling 75 points. With a final score of 48-27, Nasty Narwhals are fired up and ready for the next match.  Nasty Narwhals are the highest-scoring team in the league for the season, averaging 33.7 points per game.  QB Adam threw six touchdowns, finding Hannah Rau and Chris each for two of them while Nikki Wasserman and Kevin each caught one touchdown.  Adam also scampered for one more.  Pics or it didn’t happen really gave everything they had on offense in this one even with this loss on their record, exceeding their average of 20.00 points per game for the season.  In the loss, QB David Grosby hit Brett for two touchdowns while Natasha Barrow and troy each caught one.   Marcus Evans (0-2-1) are next up on the docket for Nasty Narwhals, as they look to keep it going.   Next Monday, Pics or it didn’t happen faces off against Willis Towers Watson (3-0-0) in an attempt to put a 1 in the win column.

 

Willis Towers Watson (3-0) v. Marcus Evans (0-2-1) – Monday, April 15, and 2019

Willis Towers Watson blew out Marcus Evans.  Willis Towers Watson put 40 on the board and held Marcus Evans to 6 points.  Willis Towers Watson stepped up in this game, beating their average of 30.70 points per game.  QB Brett Edlbeck passed four TDs while Jamie McConnell passed for one, finding Michael Johnson-Hales and Adam each for two of them and Brett ran for one with his legs.  Marcus Evans really struggled to get it going in this one, scoring less than their average of 8.70 points per game for the season.  In the loss for Marcus Evans, QB Ryan Baksh hit Matthew Roberts for one touchdown. On Monday, Willis Towers Watson will attempt to stay undefeated with a contest against Pics or it didn’t happen (0-2-1).   On Monday, Marcus Evans will attempt to put a 1 in the win column with a match-up against Nasty Narwhals (2-1-0).
