LP United (4-0-1) vs. INDY Team #11 (0-4-1) – Monday, April 22, 2019

LP United were incredible on both sides of the pitch against INDY Team #11 with a final score of 5-0.  Christian Murau lead the way for LP United with two goals, while Jake Gordon, Shea Gallup, and Adam Roberts each scored one to help the team get the victory.  INDY Team #11 struggled to get it going on offense in this game, and failed to make it onto the scoreboard.  Next week, INDY Team #11 takes on GT Soccer (1-0-4) in an attempt to get their first win. LP United will try to stay undefeated next week with a date against ABCDE FC (2-0-3).

This game had electric in the air.  No literally this game was canceled due to lightening and will be rescheduled for another day.

 

ABCDE FC (2-0-3) vs. Our Moms Think We’re Good (4-0-1) – Monday, April 22, 2019

The underdog, ABCDE FC (currently ranked 5th in the league) tied the favored Our Moms Think We’re Good (currently ranked 1st) with a final score of 2-2.  Andrew Yoder Scored both goals for ABCDE FC in the match.  Exiting week 5, ABCDE FC will look ahead to LP United (4-0-1) who are next on the docket. This is Our Moms Think We’re Good’s first tie this season and they’re currently sitting in first place in the standings. Nic Vecchitto was the star player for Our Moms Think We’re Good this week. Corporate Soccer Team tied Team Awesome 2-2 in this week 5 match-up. Craig Herdle scored both goals for Corporate Soccer Team.  Exiting week 5, Corporate Soccer Team looks ahead to MoLo Magic (0-3-2) who are next on the docket. Optimism for members of Team Awesome is starting to diminish as they have tied their last 3 games. Joe Bosco was the star player for Team Awesome this week. They scored all two goals for them. Winded City FC (3-2) vs. Team Chicago 1 (2-2) – Monday, April 22, 2019

Winded City FC controlled this game in shut out fashion against Team Chicago 1 with a final score of 3-0. Justin Wiebe scored two goals while Britney Weizerorick added one goal of their own to help get the Winded City FC the shut out victory.  Next up for Winded City FC is a showdown versus Pangea (0-5-0).  Team Chicago 1 didn’t have their best stuff in this one, and came short of making it onto the scoreboard.  Next up for Team Chicago 1 is a showdown versus Soccer? I Hardly Know Her! (4-1-0), as they try to bounce back.

 

GT Soccer (1-0-4) vs. MoLo Magic (0-3-2) – Monday, April 22, 2019

GT Soccer tied MoLo Magic 2-2 in this week 5 match-up.  Tyler Steggerda and Kaitlin Eschbach each scored one goal in the tie for GT Soccer.  This is MoLo Magic’s second tie this season and it was their best offensive performance yet.  In the tie, Ana Mullinix and Julio Vargas each lasered one goal for MoLo Magic.  For MoLo Magic next they take on Corporate Soccer Team (1-2-2).  Exiting week 5, GT Soccer looks ahead to INDY Team #11 (0-4-1) who are next on the docket.

 

The Renewable Machine (2-3-1) vs. Boarding Group Six (0-4) – Monday, April 22, 2019

The Renewable Machine beat Boarding Group Six 5-1 in this game. For The Renewable Machine they had a flurry of goals with Jordan Leventhal, Joseph Lanzillo, Brock Taute, Ryan Van Portfiliet, and Greg each scoring one goal in the victory.   Nick scored the only goal for Boarding Group Six to get their team on the board.  Avocado Discoballs (2-1-0) are next up on the docket for The Renewable Machine, as they look to keep it going.   Boarding Group Six seeks to put a 1 in the win column next Monday against Treadmill Trotters (3-1-0).

Pangea forfeited and handed a free win to ESPN The Ocho for this game. The forfeit puts Pangea in 19th place in the standings table.  Pangea seeks to get on the board with a win next week with a match-up versus Winded City FC (3-2-0). JNAM FC forfeited to INDY Team #1 for this game. This forfeit was JNAM FC’s first loss of the season. Team Awesome (1-1-3) are next up on the calendar for INDY Team #1, as they look to keep it going.   Our Moms Think We’re Good (4-0-1) are next up on the schedule for JNAM FC, as they attempt to rebound.
