Saturday 2019 Lincoln Park Turf Coed Rec Flag Football – Week 5

Hulk Smash (2-1-1) v. Dillo Dillo (1-0-1) – Saturday, May 11, and 2019

Hulk Smash and Dillo Dillo took part in a draw and finished with a stalemate at 20-20.  For Hulk Smash, QB Daven passed three TDs, finding Kathy for one tuddy.  Dillo Dillo really were unable to get rolling on offense in this game, scoring less than their average of 23.00 ppg for the year. For Dillo Dillo, QB Mike  hit Q  for one touchdown. Exiting week 5, Hulk Smash will look ahead to Chi Town BlitZ (0-3-0) who are next on the calendar.  For Dillo Dillo they will go toe to toe with INDY Team #4 (1-3-0).

 

Flags & Flasks (3-1) v. Chi Town BlitZ (0-3) – Saturday, May 11, and 2019

Flags & Flasks and Chi Town BlitZ combined for an offensive explosion totaling 65 points. With a final score of 38-27, Flags & Flasks hope to keep their momentum going as they advance in playoffs.  They really showed some fight in this game, prevailing despite allowing more points than their season points against average of 19.0 ppg.  QB Matt delivered five TDs, hitting Steven for two of them and ran in one on his own.  Despite the loss, Chi Town BlitZ really gave it their all on the offensive end in this game, beating their average of 22.00 points per game this season.  For Chi Town BlitZ, QB Dino hit Demitrius  for one touchdown.  Next up for Flags & Flasks is a throwdown against Mongrels (2-1-0).   Chi Town BlitZ looks to get on the board with a win next Saturday with a match-up against Hulk Smash (2-1-1).

 

Mongrels (2-1) v. INDY Team #4 (1-3) – Saturday, May 11, and 2019

Mongrels crushed INDY Team #4. With a final score of 34-7, Mongrels have their eyes on the coveted championship shirts.  Mongrels really buckled down in this one, prevailing, despite scoring less than their avg. ppg of 41.00. QB Mark threw five TDs, hitting Jake for three of them.  INDY Team #4 really didn’t have their best stuff in this one, scoring less than their average of 22.50 ppg this season.  During the loss for INDY Team #4, QB Michael Garai hit Nicholas Kosar for one touchdown.  Flags & Flasks (3-1-0) are next up on the docket for Mongrels, as they look to keep it going.   Next up for INDY Team #4 is a match-up against Dillo Dillo (1-0-1), as they try to bounce back.

 

The Flaming Hot Cheetos (2-2) v. Mongrels (2-1) – Saturday, May 11, and 2019

The Flaming Hot Cheetos and Mongrels combined for an offensive explosion totaling 87 points.  The final score of 44-43 reflects the hard work The Flaming Hot Cheetos put into every minute of the game.  The Flaming Hot Cheetos really brought it in this game, exceeding their average of 27.50 ppg.  QB Steven Rahel passed five touchdowns, hitting Colin Herold for two of them and rushed for one with his legs. Mongrels really struggled defensively in this one, allowing more points than their average of 23.70 points against per game this year. During the loss for Mongrels, QB Mark hit Bobby for three touchdowns and rushed for one.  Chi Town BlitZ (0-3-0) are next up on the calendar for The Flaming Hot Cheetos, as they look to keep it going.   Flags & Flasks (3-1-0) are next up on the schedule for Mongrels, as they look to get back on track.
