Kim Jong United (4-2) vs. Ball Busters FC (2-3) – Monday, August 17, 2020

Just like earlier in the season, Kim Jong United won the second go-around against Ball Busters FC. This game finished with a final score of 4-2.  Kim Jong United really showed up in this one, beating their average of 2.8 goals per game.  Armeen Shahriar scored two goals for Kim Jong United to help get the club this crucial victory. Ball Busters FC really were unable to get rolling on offense in this one, scoring fewer than their average of 3.0 goals per game this season. Team Ball Busters still had notable players including Indrit Cela, who knocked in one goal for Ball Busters FC. Next up for Kim Jong United is a pairing versus Vitamin O (4-1-0), with first place in the league standings on the line. Vitamin O Yeah (4-1) vs. INDY Team #6 (0-5) – Monday, August 17, 2020

Different week but same result in this match-up as Vitamin O Yeah won the rematch against INDY Team #6. This game finished with a final score of 10-2.  In the two games played against one another this season, Vitamin O Yeah has scored a total of 17 goals. Four different players were able to get on the scorer’s sheet in this contest for Vitamin O Yeah, led by Yamen and his 6 total goals. Anthony Estrada pitched in with two goals of his own. INDY Team #6 were once again unable to get rolling on the offensive end in this game, scoring less than their average of 2.6 GPG this year. INDY Team #6 still had notable players including Michael Lewis, who knocked in one goal for his squad. Indy Team #5 (2-4) vs. Vitamin O (4-1) – Monday, August 17, 2020

INDY Team #5 came out determined on Monday night and recorded a much-needed victory over Team Vitamin O. This game finished with a final score of 3-2.  This is Vitamin O’s first loss of the season, but it did not impact their #1 ranking in the league as they now sit tied with Team Vitamin O Yeah at the top of the ranking table. Vitamin O team still had notable players including Ryan Heaney, the league’s leading goal scorer through the first five weeks of the season (9), who fired in one goal for Vitamin O. Indy Team #5 really showed up on defense in this game, beating their season goals against average of 3.2 GPG.  Forrest Olson knocked in two goals to guide the club’s attack and help secure the crucial victory.  Kim Jong United (4-2-0) are next up on the schedule for Vitamin O, as they try to bounce back from this heartbreaking loss and hold onto their #1 ranking prior to the postseason starting.  INDY Team #6 (0-5-0) are next up on the docket for Indy Team #5, as they look to keep this winning momentum turning.
