Ben’s Angels (4-0-1) vs. Net Six and Chill (3-0-2) – Monday, October 26, 2020

Ben’s Angels and Net Six and Chill were very evenly matched in their Week 6 match-up in the Monday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC/INT 8v8 Soccer League and ended all tied at 1-1. Ben’s Angels used their 1 goals scored in this game to boost their total goals this season to 11. Isaac Torres-Villa scored the team’s only goal, keeping their team on the board. Pass it to the Italians! seem to have found their groove and have now won two games in a row. Morgan Rankey and Sarah Olick-Sutphen scored one goal apiece to steer the crew’s attack. Next up for Pass it to the Italians! coming up in Week 7 is a game against Just Closing Our Rings (2-3-1), as they look to close out their regular season schedule on a three-game winning streak. This is Wiggity Wack’s first loss of the season. Sierra DiMaggio got their first goal of the season and got Wiggity Wack on the board in this contest, unfortunately it just was not enough to keep pace with a determined Pass it to the Italians! squad. Team Awesome (2-3) vs. Summit Sweepers (1-3-2) – Monday, October 26, 2020

Simon Lockwood-Bean knocked in their third and fourth goals of the season and Allie Johnson fired in their first goal of the year as Team Awesome knocked off Summit Sweepers by a final score of 3-1 in Week 6 of the Monday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC/INT 8v8 Soccer League. ESPN Soccer really stepped up in this game, besting their average of 1.4 goals per game. Jordan Moore racked up a hat trick in this contest to help get ESPN Soccer this crucial victory. Coming up in Week 7, ASPCA face off against Net Six and Chill (3-0-2) in an attempt to remain unbeaten and close out the regular season schedule as the overall #1 ranked team in the league. It’s About To Get Messi really struggled defensively in this one, giving up more goals than their average of 1.8 goals against per game for the year.
