Fall 2020 Tues Lincoln Park South Men’s INT 7 vs. 7 Flag Football Recap – Week 3

Dirty Chris and the Boys (1-1) v. Team Jim (1-2) – Tuesday, September 29, and 2020

By the score of 20-6, Dirty Chris and the Boys got a great win in Week 3 of the Tuesday Lincoln Park GRASS Men’s INT Flag Football League.  They really brought it in this game, beating their first game point total. QB Frederick Figge provided all the offense for Dirty Chris and the Boys in this contest, passing two touchdowns, with Matt Cordan on the receiving end of both and ran for one more with his legs. Next up for Dirty Chris and the Boys is a match-up against Fat Dan and Co. (2-1-0) as they look to record back-to-back victories for the first time this season. Team Jim were unable to get rolling on offense in this one, scoring less than their average of 8.30 points per game for the year. In the loss for Team Jim, QB Francis Besana hit Scott Burchett for their only score of the game. River Rats (2-0-0) is next up on the calendar for Team Jim, as they look to rebound from this defeat and get back into the winner’s circle.

 

River Rats (2-0) v. Butter (2-1) – Tuesday, September 29, and 2020

River Rats blanked Butter by a final score of 25-0 in Week 3 of the Tuesday Lincoln Park GRASS Men’s INT Flag Football League. River Rats brought it in this one, beating their first game point total. QB Samuel Frasco delivered two passing touchdowns, hitting Anthony Babicz and Jack Landwehr for one apiece. QB Samuel Frasco also scampered in two with his legs to help seal this huge Week 3 victory. River Rats will attempt to stay undefeated coming up in Week 4 with a showdown versus Team Jim (1-2-0). Butter struggled to get it going in terms of scoring in this game, scoring less than their average of 17.70 ppg for the season. Next up for Butter is a showdown versus RPOs (3-0-0), as they try to put this lopsided defeat in the rear-view mirror.

 

Good D (1-1) v. Big Chungus (0-2) – Tuesday, September 29, and 2020

Good D shut out Big Chungus by a final score of 16-0 in Week 3 of the Tuesday Lincoln Park GRASS Men’s INT Flag Football League. These guys really brought it, beating their first game point total. QB Jimmy Riley threw two scores, finding Michael Muehlhauser and Spencer Strup. Most of the credit for this win however should be given to their defense as they recorded their first shutout of the seaso. Next up for Good D is a pairing against Safari Club (1-2-0) coming up in Week 4 as they try to record back-to-back victories for the first time this season. Big Chungus struggled to get it going in this one, scoring less than their total from their opening matchup. Through the first two games of their season, Big Chungus are averaging 3 PPG. Coming up on Tuesday, Big Chungus takes on Block the Bookie (0-3-0) as both teams attempt to put a 1 in the win column.

 

RPOs (3-0) v. Block the Bookie (0-3) – Tuesday, September 29, and 2020

Block the Bookie forfeited to RPOs in Week 3 of the Tuesday Lincoln Park GRASS Men’s INT Flag Football League as Block the Bookie did not have enough starters to field a legal game. Coming up in Week 4, RPOs battles against Butter (2-1-0) in an attempt to stay unblemished and take their record up to 4-0.   Next week, Block the Bookie will seek to break their winless streak with a match-up against Big Chungus (0-2-0).

 

Fat Dan and Co. (2-1) v. Safari Club (1-2) – Tuesday, September 29, and 2020

Fat Dan and Co., at least from a win-loss standpoint, continued an upward trend, as Fat Dan and Co. walked away with a slim 12-6 victory on Tuesday night. The final score of 12-6 reflects the hard work Fat Dan and Co. put into every minute of the game.  These guys, Fat Dan and Co., buckled down in this one, earning the victory, despite scoring less than their avg. points per game of 23.70. QB Jake Jemmi passed two touchdowns, with Tom Savage on the receiving end of both. Next up for Fat Dan and Co. is a throwdown versus Dirty Chris and the Boys (1-1-0) coming up in Week 4 as they try to record back-to-back victories for the first time this season. Safari Club really were unable to get rolling in terms of scoring in this one, scoring less than their average of 13.70 points per game for the year. In the loss, QB Jack Copher hit Nathaniel Davidson for their only score of this game. Next up for Safari Club is a battle versus Good D (1-1-0), as they attempt to bounce back from this heartbreaking defeat.
