Fat Dan and Co. (1-0) v. Block the Bookie (0-1) – Tuesday, September 15, and 2020

Fat Dan and Co. destroyed Block the Bookie on opening night of the Tuesday Lincoln Park Men’s INT 7v7 Flag Football League. By the score of 47-6, Fat Dan and Co. got a massive W to start their 2020 Fall campaign in style. They are the highest-scoring team in the league through the first week of the season. QB Jake Jemmi dominated this contest, delivering four passing touchdowns, connecting with four different receivers, while also rushing in two on his own. Block the Bookie may need to get it going on offense if they want to start climbing the standings, as they are tied with Team Jim as the lowest-scoring teams in the league through week one. Fat Dan and Co. will try to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 2. RPOs (1-0-0) are next on the schedule for Fat Dan and Co.. For Block the Bookie next up is a game against Safari Club (0-1-0) as they attempt to rebound from this lopsided Week 1 loss.

RPOs blew out Safari Club in Week 1 of the Tuesday Lincoln Park Men’s INT 7v7 Flag Football League. The final score of 32-8 reflects the hard work RPOs put into every minute of the game. QB Matt Difrancesca threw five TDs, hitting Jake Rzeszutko for three of them. It is only week one, and Safari Club has significant amounts of games to improve on the offensive end. During the loss for Safari Club, QB Grant Burke hit Jack Carroll for their only score in this game.  RPOs will attempt to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 2. Next up is a showdown against Fat Dan and Co. (1-0-0). For Safari Club next up is a date with Block the Bookie (0-1-0) as they try to bounce back from this Week 1 defeat.

 

Butter (1-0) v. Team Jim (0-1) – Tuesday, September 15, and 2020

Butter welcomed Team Jim to the Lincoln Park TURF Field for opening night of the Tuesday Lincoln Park Men’s INT 7v7 Flag Football League. Butter found their stride in the second half of this contest and gained the momentum needed to come away with a 19-6 opening night victory. The final score of 19-6 reflects the hard work Butter put into every minute of the game.  QB Kyle Donahue delivered three passing touchdowns, connecting with three different receivers to help propel his squad to their first victory of the season. Team Jim may need to get it going on offense to turn things around, as they are tied for the lowest-scoring team in the league through week one. For Team Jim, in the loss, QB Francis Besana hit Alexander Heuer for their only score of the game.  Butter will attempt to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 2. Dirty Chris and the Boys (0-0-0) are next on the schedule for Butter. For Team Jim they will move on to a contest with Big Chungus (0-0-0) as they try to get into the win column.
