Flags & Flasks (1-0) v. Can’t Find the Cleat (0-1) – Saturday, September 26, and 2020

The final score of 33-12 reflects the hard work Flags & Flasks put into every minute of this game in their opening day contest of the Saturday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC/INT 8v8 Flag Football League. QB Matt Sandt delivered five passing touchdowns, passing to Steven Gilman for two of them. Flags & Flasks will try to stay atop the Standings with another W coming up in week 2. Shockers (1-0-0) are next on the docket for Flags & Flasks with first place in the league standings on the line. It’s only the first week but Can’t Find the Cleat are the lowest-scoring team in the league after week 1. For Can’t Find the Cleat, QB Luke Dawahare hit Amanda Klimowski for their only offensive score of the game. For Can’t Find the Cleat they will have a match-up with The Ogg Balls (0-1-0) coming up in week 2 as they try to record their first victory of the season.

Shockers dominated The Ogg Balls on opening day of the Saturday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC/INT 8v8 Flag Football League. With a final score of 42-14, Shockers have set the tone for the season. These guys are the higher-scoring team in the league through the first week. QB Mike delivered six total touchdowns, five passing and one rushing. Ginelle Jurlano was on the receiving end of two of the five TD passes from QB Mike. For Shockers, every week is a big opportunity to get cruising from the jump. Coming up in week 2 Shockers will take on Flags & Flasks (1-0-0) with first place in the league standings on the line. The season is still young, so The Ogg Balls still has significant amounts of games to go back to the drawing board on both ends of the field. As for The Ogg Balls next on the calendar is Can’t Find the Cleat (0-1-0) as they try to bounce back from this week 1 lopsided defeat.
