Thunder (3-0-3) vs. Benchwarmers (2-3-1) – Tuesday, October 22, 2019

Thunder shut out Benchwarmers with a final score of just 1-0. Thunder had two games this week. This was the better played match, which helped them lock in their #2 rank in the standings table. To help gain the crew the W, Jose scored their only goal. Their goalie, Juan Henriquez, is credited with the shutout. Benchwarmers struggled to get it going in this game and suffered a shutout.

Beercelona (3-2-1) vs. Out of Shape FC (1-4-1) – Tuesday, October 22, 2019

Beercelona were incredible on both sides of the pitch against Out of Shape FC with a final score of 8-0. This win is the second in a row for Beercelona, and it bumps them to 6th place in the standings. Connor Welby was unstoppable and contributed 4 goals to help earn the crew the victory. Out of Shape FC struggled to get it going in terms of scoring in this game and came short of making it onto the scoreboard.

Yeovil (4-1-1) vs. Thunder (3-0-3) – Tuesday, October 22, 2019

Yeovil and Thunder were very evenly matched in this contest and finished all tied at 0-0. This was one of two games for Thunder this week. Perhaps on a night they only had one game, this tie could have been a victory. Yeovil came ready for a double header. The competition was extremely close and both matches were ties.

Migos FC (5-0-1) vs. The Ball Handlers (0-5-1) – Tuesday, October 22, 2019

Migos FC put on a show on both sides of the pitch against The Ball Handlers with a final score of 3-0. The Ball Handlers struggled to get it going on the offensive end in this game, but they’ve had 5 overall goals this season. Migos FC brought it on defense, beating their season goals against average of 0.8 goals per game. Gerardo Mendoza scored two goals. Shout-out to goalkeeper, Julio Rios, for the shutout!

Will’s FC (5-2) vs. Yeovil (4-1-1) – Tuesday, October 22, 2019

Will’s FC were incredible on both sides of the pitch against Yeovil with a final score of 4-0. Yeovil had a double header. Sadly, they lost both matches and increased their total goal differential to 12. Will’s FC are heating up with two wins in a row. Shelby Carpenter made one goal. The defense are the unsung heroes of this match for helping Willy earn a clean sheet.

Summit Sweepers (3-2-1) vs. Da Sleeping Bears (4-1-1) – Tuesday, October 22, 2019

In an unexpected outcome, the 6th place ranked team, Summit Sweepers, upset the favored Da Sleeping Bears (currently ranked 2nd) with a final score of 4-3. This is Da Sleeping Bears’s first loss of the season. Ben Ossyra was the star player for Da Sleeping Bears this week. They scored both goals for them. Summit Sweepers really brought their A game in this game, topping their average of 2.3 goals per game. Carlos netted two goals to help earn the crew the victory.

INDY Team #3 (1-4-1) vs. Team Indy (0-6) – Tuesday, October 22, 2019

Both teams entered this match looking for their first win of the season. With a final score of 3-2, INDY Team #3 emerged with a close win against Team Indy. INDY Team #3 really showed up in this game, exceeding their average of 1.3 goals per game. Kelsey Dame netted two goals to help earn the crew the W. It’s week 6 and Team Indy have only scored a total of 4 goals all season. Chris Faxel was the star player for Team Indy this week. They scored all two goals for them.
