PWfC and Trend Bend it like Beckham were extremely well-matched in this one and finished all tied up at 2-2. This is Trend Bend it like Beckham’s second tie this season and they’re currently sitting in fifth place in the standings. In the tie, Keeley Macafee kicked one goal for Trend Bend it like Beckham. This week’s result puts PWfC in sixth place in the standings. Ben Ach scored one goal to help gain the crew the win.  For Trend Bend it like Beckham next on the calendar is Chicago Chubs (4-1-0).  Exiting week 6, PWfC looks ahead to WUGIs (4-1-0) who are next on the schedule.

WUGIs (4-1) vs. New Pivot Delivered (3-2) – Sunday, January 26, 2020

Just like earlier in the season, WUGIs won the second go-around against New Pivot Delivered. This game finished with a final score of 12-0.  New Pivot Delivered didn’t have their best stuff on offense in this one, and couldn’t seem to find the back of the net.  Corona Light (2-2-1) are next up on the schedule for New Pivot Delivered, as they attempt to rebound. Let’s start with Mary  of WUGIs who now has the most goals in the league with 6 goals. Giovanni Gomez scored a hat trick to help earn the team the win. Next up for WUGIs is a date against PWfC (0-4-1).

Chicago Chubs (4-1) vs. Corona Light (2-2-1) – Sunday, January 26, 2020

Chicago Chubs and Corona Light competed in a low scoring affair, combining for three goals. Chicago Chubs took home the 2-1 victory. Chicago Chubs seems to have found their groove and has won two games in a row. Scott  kicked two goals to help gain the club the victory. Next up for Chicago Chubs is a Game versus Trend Bend it like Beckham (0-3-2).  Corona Light really were unable to get rolling on offense in this game, scoring less than their average of 2.0 GPG for the year. Pat scored the only goal for Corona Light to prevent the shutout.  Next up for Corona Light is a match-up against New Pivot Delivered (3-2-0), as they look to get back on track.
