Pitch Please (2-1) vs. INDY Team #1 (1-1-1) – Monday, December 16, 2019

Pitch Please beat INDY Team #1 3-1 in this game. This is INDY Team #1’s first loss of the season. Rebekah Ausbrook scored the only goal for INDY Team #1 to save them from a shutout.  Next up for INDY Team #1 is a showdown versus LPSE (2-0-1), as they try to bounce back. Hasanga Samaraweera racked up a hat trick to help earn the crew the win. Next up for Pitch Please is a throwdown versus Team Awesome (1-1-1).

Velvet Taquitos (1-1-1) vs. Los Dinos (1-2) – Monday, December 16, 2019

Earning their first win of the season, Velvet Taquitos beat Los Dinos 4-1. Los Dinos really struggled to stop anything in terms of defense in this one, allowing more goals than their average of 3.3 goals against per game for the season. Rogelio Santos scored the only goal for Los Dinos to save them from a shutout.  Next up for Los Dinos is a showdown against ESPN; The Ocho (1-0-2), as they attempt to bounce back. Velvet Taquitos stepped up, besting their average of 1.7 goals per game.  Jess  accounted for one goal to spearhead the club’s attack. Next up for Velvet Taquitos is a showdown against Net 6 and Chill (0-3-0).

LPSE (2-0-1) vs. Team Awesome (1-1-1) – Monday, December 16, 2019

LPSE and Team Awesome had a draw and ended tied up at 2-2. Tigist Dadi scored one goal to spearhead the club’s offense. This is Team Awesome’s first tie this season and they’re currently sitting in fourth place in the standings. In the tie, Shane Otten accounted for one goal for Team Awesome. Exiting week 3, LPSE looks ahead to INDY Team #1 (1-1-1) who are next on the docket.  For Team Awesome next they take on Pitch Please (2-1-0).

ESPN; The Ocho (1-0-2) vs. Net 6 and Chill (0-3) – Monday, December 16, 2019

Going into this game, both teams were hungry for their first win of the season. With a final score of 4-0, ESPN; The Ocho emerged with a win against Net 6 and Chill. ESPN; The Ocho really showed up in this one, topping their average of 1.7 goals per game.  Emily Swanson scored one goal. Their goalie, Brad Sherrill, made sure Net 6 and Chill would not score. Net 6 and Chill struggled to get it going in terms of scoring in this one and suffered a shutout. On Monday, ESPN; The Ocho face off against Los Dinos (1-2-0) in an attempt to stay unbeaten.   Next game, Net 6 and Chill takes on Velvet Taquitos (1-1-1) in an attempt to get their first win.
