Los Dinos (1-1) vs. Net 6 and Chill (0-2) – Monday, December 9, 2019

Los Dinos put on a show on both sides of the pitch against Net 6 and Chill with a final score of 2-0. Los Dinos really brought their A game in this one, beating their opening game point total. To help get the team the win, Rogelio Santos kicked all two goals. The club’s goalie, Alejandra Perez, played very well in the shutout. Los Dinos will try to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 3. This week Los Dinos will compete with Velvet Taquitos (0-1-1). Net 6 and Chill really were unable to get rolling in this one, scoring less than their total from their first matchup. As for Net 6 and Chill they will have a match-up against ESPN; The Ocho (0-0-2) as they try to rebound.

LPSE (2-0) vs. Pitch Please (1-1) – Monday, December 9, 2019

In this match, LPSE beat Pitch Please 4-2. LPSE are heating up, winning both of their games so far this season. Ariana Gonzalez scored two goals and earned the most tallies on the scoresheet. Pitch Please really didn’t have their best stuff on offense in this one, scoring less than their total from their opening matchup. The losing team still had notable players including Andrew Zirzow, who put in one goal for Pitch Please. For LPSE, every contest is a crucial opportunity for them to gather wins early on. ESPN; The Ocho and Velvet Taquitos were very even in this one and finished all tied at 1-1. Two weeks in a row, they’ve been so close to victory, but instead, ESPN; The Ocho have a 2-game draw streak. Karlie Bless scored the team’s only goal, keeping their team on the board. Exiting week 2, ESPN; The Ocho will look ahead to Net 6 and Chill (0-2-0) who are next on the schedule. Despite the loss, Velvet Taquitos really brought their best, beating their total from their first matchup. Alex G. was the star player for Velvet Taquitos this week. INDY Team #1 (1-0-1) vs. Team Awesome (1-1) – Monday, December 9, 2019

INDY Team #1 controlled this game in shut out fashion against Team Awesome with a final score of 2-0. Team Awesome really struggled to get it going on the offensive end in this game, netting less than their total from their opening game. INDY Team #1 brought their A game in this game, exceeding their opening game point total. INDY Team #1’s goalkeeper Scott Surface deserves a shout out for helping blank the Team Awesome’s offense. Rebekah Ausbrook and Rebekah Ausbrook each fired one goal to spearhead the squad’s offense. As for Team Awesome next on the calendar is LPSE (2-0-0) as they attempt to bounce back.
