Fall 2018 Wednesday CIBC Coed Int Soccer – Week 5

Toe Ballers (2-1-2) vs. Train Wreck (0-4-1) – Wednesday, January 09, and 2019

Earlier in the season, these teams tied, but Toe Ballers grabbed a 3-2 win against Train Wreck in this rematch.  Train Wreck really were unable to get rolling in this game, scoring fewer than their average of 2.4 goals per game for the year. Matt Ross was the star player for Train Wreck this week. He scored both goals for his team. Train Wreck tries to get their first win next week against Pulisic’s Posse (3-1-1). This win is the second in a row for Toe Ballers, and it bumps them to 2nd place in the standings. Casey Guevara-Lehker, Ana, and Chris scored one goal each to lead the club’s attack. Next up for Toe Ballers is a showdown against Too Faced FC (3-2-0).

 

Pulisic’s Posse (3-1-1) vs. Too Faced FC (3-2) – Wednesday, January 09, and 2019

Pulisic’s Posse got an easy win this week since Too Faced FC forfeited this match. Despite forfeiting the match, Too Faced FC remains at the top of the standings table in second place. Next up for Too Faced FC is a showdown against Toe Ballers (2-1-2), as they try to bounce back. Train Wreck (0-4-1) is next up on the docket for Pulisic’s Posse, as they look to keep it going.
