Fall 2018 Tues CIBC TURF Coed Rec Soccer – Week 2

Chubby Alonsos (1-0-1) vs. PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE (0-1-1) – Tuesday, December 04, and 2018

Chubby Alonsos absolutely dominated this game in shut out fashion against PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE with a final score of 7-0. PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE were unable to put up much of a defense in this game, surrendering more goals than their opening match. Chubby Alonsos brought their A game in this one, topping their first game point total. Ariel Godinez got a hat trick with three goals and earned the most tallies on the scoresheet. Also providing some scoring was Anas Mansouri, Roy Robinson, and Greg K.  As for PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE they’ll move on to a game with INDY Team #6 (0-1-1) as they strive to get to the win column. For Chubby Alonsos, every game is a big opportunity to grab wins early on. This week Chubby Alonsos will go toe to toe with GCM Grosvenor (2-0-0).

 

GCM Grosvenor (2-0) vs. BMcD (0-1-1) – Tuesday, December 04, and 2018

GCM Grosvenor beat BMcD 6-1 in this game. GCM Grosvenor is heating up, winning both of their games so far this season. Caitlin Murphy netted two goals to help earn the team the W.  For GCM Grosvenor, each contest is a big chance for them to gather wins early on. This week GCM Grosvenor will go toe to toe with Chubby Alonsos (1-0-1).  BMcD didn’t have their best stuff on the offensive end in this game, scoring less than their total from their Week 1 game. Jose G scored the only goal for BMcD to save his team from embarrassment.  As for BMcD next on the calendar is The Ball Handlers (1-1-0) as they try to bounce back.

 

JLL Soccer (1-0-1) vs. SALT United (1-1) – Tuesday, December 04, and 2018

In this match, JLL Soccer beat SALT United 5-2. SALT United didn’t have their best stuff in terms of scoring in this game, scoring less than their total from their opening contest. The losing team still had notable players including Alexander Nicholas and Jovan Milunovic, who scored one goal each for SALT United.  As for SALT United they will have a game against Double Credenza FC (0-2-0) as they try to rebound. JLL Soccer really brought their A game in this game, beating their first game point total. Margaret Nolan fired two goals, and John Pisani, Habby Aguilera, and Trevor Gullman scored one goal each to help earn the club the W.  JLL Soccer will try to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 3. This week JLL Soccer will take on Kick in a Box (0-1-1).

 

INDY Team #12 (1-0) vs. Double Credenza FC (0-2) – Tuesday, December 04, and 2018

INDY Team #12 played well here and blanked Double Credenza FC with a final score of 2-0. Despite losing, they gave it their all to stop Double Credenza FC, allowing less goals than they surrendered in their opening game. INDY Team #12’s goalkeeper Nick Stuedemann deserves much of the credit after earning a shut out. Jeremy Stoddard and Don Perry both scored one goal to provide some scoring.  As for Double Credenza FC they will have a match-up with SALT United (1-1-0) as they strive to bounce back. For INDY Team #12, next up is a showdown against Beercelona (1-0-2), as they go for another W.

 

The Ball Handlers (0-2) vs. INDY Team #6 (1-0-1) – Tuesday, December 04, and 2018

In this match the teams competed in an absolute shoot-out, totaling 7 goals. Despite The Ball Handlers impressive 3 goals, INDY Team #6 got the win with the other 4 goals. In the win, Autumn Sodman scored two goals for INDY Team #6, and Alexandra Kuykendall and Elias Santillan.  As for INDY Team #6 they will have a pairing against PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE (0-1-1) as they attempt to keep it going. In the loss, Dillon kicked two goals and Sarah Broughton kicked one goal to guide the group’s offense.  Exiting week 2, The Ball Handlers will look ahead rebound. Next up is a showdown with BMcD (0-1-1).

 

Beercelona (1-0-2) vs. Kick in a Box (0-1-1) – Tuesday, December 04, and 2018

Beercelona was incredible on both sides of the pitch against Kick in a Box with a final score of 4-0. Beercelona really brought their A game on defense in this one, beating their season goals against average of 2.3 goals per game.  Nick Braund got a hat trick with three goals to steer the club’s attack. Connor Welby also kicked a goal for Beercelona. Kick in a Box really didn’t have their best game on defense in this one, surrendering more goals than their opening matchup. Exiting week 2, Beercelona will look ahead to keep their early season momentum. INDY Team #12 (1-0-0) are next on the calendar for Beercelona.  As for Kick in a Box next on the docket is JLL Soccer (1-0-1) as they strive to bounce back.
