Fall 2018 Tues CIBC Coed Rec Soccer – Week 5

JLL Soccer (3-1-1) vs. GCM Grosvenor (3-2) – Tuesday, January 08, and 2019

JLL Soccer and GCM Grosvenor had a close one up to the last minute with a final score of 3-2. Despite losing, GCM Grosvenor has been doing great on offense so far, with a total of 25 goals. Ben was the star player for GCM Grosvenor this week. He scored both goals for them. Next up for GCM Grosvenor is a battle against INDY Team #12 (3-0-1), as they try to bounce back. JLL Soccer continues to show they are a team that is good at scoring. They’re averaging 4 goals per game. Krystin D lasered in two goals to lead the team’s offense. Wojtek Kowalczyk also scored one goal for JLL Soccer. Double Credenza FC (3-2-0) is next up on the schedule for JLL Soccer, as they look to keep it going.

 

Beercelona (3-0-3) vs. INDY Team #6 (2-2-1) – Tuesday, January 08, and 2019

In this match, Beercelona beat INDY Team #6 7-1. INDY Team #6 really struggled to get it going on offense in this one, scoring fewer than their average of 1.8 GPG this season. Nathaniel Goddard scored the only goal for INDY Team #6 to save his team from embarrassment. Beercelona seems to have found their groove and has won two games in a row. Connor Welby scored a hat trick with three goals to lead the crew’s attack. Also providing some scoring for Beercelona was Jose Vidal, Milo Vieland, and Samantha Johnson with 2, 1, and 1 goal respectively. BMcD (2-2-1) are next up on the calendar for INDY Team #6, as they try to bounce back. Next week, Beercelona seeks to remain unbeaten with a pairing against Chubby Alonsos (2-1-2).

 

PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE (0-3-2) vs. The Ball Handlers (0-4-1) – Tuesday, January 08, and 2019

PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE and The Ball Handlers took part in a draw and concluded knotted up at 2-2. This tie for the PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE came as a surprise considering it’s week 5 and they have only scored less than a handful goals. For PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE, Henry Hamlin kicked one goal to provide some scoring. Exiting week 5, PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE will look ahead to SALT United (2-3-0) who is next on the docket. This is The Ball Handlers’s first tie this season and they’re currently sitting in 12th place in the standings. David was the star player for The Ball Handlers this week and scored both goals for them. For The Ball Handlers next up is Kick in a Box (0-3-2).

 

SALT United (2-3) vs. Kick in a Box (0-3-2) – Tuesday, January 08, and 2019

SALT United beat Kick in a Box 3-1 in this game. Kick in a Box has had a rough season. It’s week 5 and they’ve only scored a total of 5 goals. Sean Dempsey scored the only goal for Kick in a Box to prevent the shut out. SALT United stepped up, topping their average of 2.2 goals per game. Alexander Nicholas fired two goals and Jovan Milunovic fired one goal to guide the squad’s offense. On Tuesday, Kick in a Box seeks to put a 1 in the win column against The Ball Handlers (0-4-1).  PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE (0-3-2) are next up on the schedule for SALT United, as they look to keep it going.

 

INDY Team #12 (3-0-1) vs. BMcD (2-2-1) – Tuesday, January 08, and 2019

INDY Team #12 beat BMcD 4-2 in this game. The losing team still had notable players including Carmelo Castillo and Karston Sheppard, who netted one goal each for BMcD.  INDY Team #6 (2-2-1) is next up on the calendar for BMcD, as they attempt to rebound. INDY Team #12 is heating up with two wins in a row. Nick Stuedemann, Don Perry, Beck Hughes, and Gurdeep Nagi each kicked one goal to help gain the group the victory. Next week, INDY Team #12 seeks to stay undefeated with a match-up against GCM Grosvenor (3-2-0).

 

Double Credenza FC (3-2) vs. Chubby Alonsos (2-1-2) – Tuesday, January 08, and 2019

In this match, Double Credenza FC beat Chubby Alonsos 7-2. This is Chubby Alonsos’s first loss of the season. Roy Robinson was the star player for Chubby Alonsos this week. He scored both goals for his team. Next up for Chubby Alonsos is a showdown versus Beercelona (3-0-3), as they look to rebound. They’re on fire! Kevin Jack fired two goals to help gain the crew the win. JLL Soccer (3-1-1) is next up on the docket for Double Credenza FC, as they look to keep it going.
