Gogo (2-2) vs. Hot Messi (1-3) – Thursday, December 20, and 2018

Gogo shut out Hot Messi with a final score of just 1-0. Hot Messi didn’t have their best stuff in this one and suffered a shutout. This win for the Gogo came as a bit of a surprise considering it’s more than halfway through the season and they have only scored a total of 4 goals. The club’s goalkeeper Sergio Carlos made sure Hot Messi would not score. To lead the crew’s offense, Viyon Kuton scored one goal.

 

Misfits (1-2-1) vs. INDY Team #9 (0-5) – Thursday, December 20, and 2018

Both teams entered this match looking for their first win of the season. With a final score of 4-0, Misfits emerged with a win against INDY Team #9. Misfits brought their A game in this game, topping their average of 1.3 goals per game. Their goalkeeper Michael Collins played very well in the shutout. To spearhead the group’s offense, Don F kicked two goals, and Caitlin McDonnell and Peter Woods scored one goal each. INDY Team #9 didn’t have their best stuff on offense in this game and failed to make it onto the scoreboard.

 

Game of Throw-Ins (4-0) vs. Make Mia Hamm Sandwich (3-1) – Thursday, December 20, and 2018

In this match, Game of Throw-Ins beat Make Mia Hamm Sandwich 3-1. This is Make Mia Hamm Sandwich’s first loss of the season. Colin Allshouse scored the only goal for Make Mia Hamm Sandwich to save their team from embarrassment. Game of Throw-Ins are having a fantastic offensive season. They’re averaging 4 goals per game. Jacob Tache, Viktors Lackajs, and Ross Henry lasered in one goal each to help get the squad the W.

 

aTracktive44 (3-2) vs. Cheeky Monkey (1-3) – Thursday, December 20, and 2018

aTracktive44 shut out Cheeky Monkey with a final score of just 1-0. Cheeky Monkey was unable to get rolling in this game and suffered a shutout. aTracktive44 showed some fight in this one, winning, despite scoring less than their avg. GPG of 2.2. Their goalie Danny Altosino got a shutout in this one. To guide the team’s attack, Nicholas Klassen scored one goal.

 

Chicago Handshakes (3-1) vs. Loose Balls (2-1-1) – Thursday, December 20, and 2018

Chicago Handshakes put on a show on both sides of the pitch against Loose Balls with a final score of 2-0. Chicago Handshakes seem to have found their groove and has won two games in a row. Their goalie Will got a shutout in this one. To spearhead the crew’s attack, Dustin Bender and Michael Koho scored one goal each. This is Loose Balls’s first loss of the season.
