Football Sundays (7-2) vs. Browns FC (0-8) – Sunday, November 18, and 2018

Football Sundays was the higher ranked #1 seed playing the #4 seed, Browns FC. They confidently took the win to advance to the Championship Game. Adam Gutman is the goalkeeper credited with the shutout for Football Sundays. Helping on the offense, Mick Parks scored three goals, and Gray Ellington and Cristina scored one goal each in this playoff win for Football Sundays. Browns FC were unable to get rolling in this game and came short of making it onto the scoreboard. INDY Team #2 (7-2) vs. INDY Team #4 (3-5) – Sunday, November 18, and 2018

The #3 seed, INDY Team #4, forfeited to the #2 seed, INDY Team #2 in this semi-final game. This is the end of the road for INDY Team #4’s run in this league. In this exciting Championship Game, the #2 team, INDY Team #2 played the #1 team, Football Sundays, for the coveted Chicago Sport and Social Club long-sleeve champ shirts to forever capture their moment of glory. In the win for INDY Team #2, Ben scored three goals. Congratulations to INDY Team #2 on a great season and their championship win! We hope to see this squad return to defend their title. In the loss for Football Sundays, Mike scored one goal to prevent a shut-out. Being one of the top two teams, Football Sundays were optimistic heading into the championship match, so this loss is a tough one. But they definitely have what it takes to win and we expect to see them doing well again next season.
