Treadmill Trotters (4-1) vs. INDY Team #11 (0-2-1) – Sunday, January 06, and 2019

Treadmill Trotters beat INDY Team #11 5-2 in this game. Yohei Kanehara of Treadmill Trotters is MVP and now is in the lead for the scoring title with a whopping 7 goals! Yohei Kanehara and River Glick each kicked two goals, and Jessica Wasserman kicked one goal for Treadmill Trotters. Good Vibes Only (4-0-0) is next up on the docket for Treadmill Trotters, as they look to keep it going.  INDY Team #11 really didn’t have their best stuff in this game, scoring less than their average of 2.7 goals per game for the year. The losing team still had notable players including Terry Li and Tiberu Stan, who put in one goal for INDY Team #11.  Next game, INDY Team #11 takes on Bird’s Nest (3-0-1) in an attempt to get their first win.

 

Bird’s Nest (3-0-1) vs. For Fuch’s Sake (1-3-1) – Sunday, January 06, and 2019

Bird’s Nest absolutely dominated this game in shut out fashion against For Fuch’s Sake with a final score of 4-0. For Fuch’s Sake were unable to get rolling in this game, but they’ve had 10 overall goals this season. They’re on fire! Bird’s Nest’s goalie Raymond Soto is credited with the shutout. To help earn the team the win, Chris Fei had two goals, and Joseph Digirolamo and Tom D had one goal each. Blue Barracudas (1-3-0) is next up on the calendar for For Fuch’s Sake, as they look to rebound. Bird’s Nest will look to stay undefeated on Sunday with a throwdown against INDY Team #11 (0-2-1).

 

Good Vibes Only (4-0) vs. Indy Team #2 (1-3) – Sunday, January 06, and 2019

In this match, Good Vibes Only beat Indy Team #2 4-2. Good Vibes Only is playing an incredible offensive season. They’re averaging 5 goals per game. Henry scored two goals to help gain the crew the win. Also providing some scoring was Andrew and Edwin with one goal each. Indy Team #2 really struggled to stop anything on defense in this game, giving up more goals than their average of 3.3 goals against per game for the year. The losing team still had notable players including Chris Zdvorak and Adnan Haider, who each put in one goal for Indy Team #2. Next Sunday, Good Vibes Only battles against Treadmill Trotters (4-1-0) in an attempt to remain unbeaten. Atletico WB (3-0-1) vs. Hungry Hungry Suarez (2-2) – Sunday, January 06, and 2019

In this match, Atletico WB beat Hungry Hungry Suarez 4-1. In the win, Kyle Dedrick got a hat trick with three goals to help get the crew the W. Casey A also scored one goal for Atletico WB. Hungry Hungry Suarez struggled to get it going on the offensive end in this one, scoring fewer than their average of 2.8 GPG for the year. Meagan Reitz scored the only goal for Hungry Hungry Suarez to get their team on the board. Next week, Atletico WB try to remain perfect with a date versus Rugrats (0-4-0).   Next up for Hungry Hungry Suarez is a match-up versus Blue Guys (2-0-0), as they try to bounce back.

 

Football Sundays 2.0 (2-2) vs. Bayer N Advil (2-1) – Sunday, January 06, and 2019

In this match, Football Sundays 2.0 beat Bayer N Advil 4-2. Even though they lost, Bayer N Advil have much time to get better on the offensive side of the ball. First shout-out goes to Mike Goldberg of Football Sundays 2.0 who now has the most goals in the league with 7 goals. Mike Goldberg and JD scored two goals each to guide the group’s offense. Bayer N Advil tries to break their winless streak next week versus INDY Team #11 (0-2-1). The Wombats (1-1-0) are next up on the schedule for Football Sundays 2.0, as they look to keep it going.

 

Blue Barracudas (1-3) vs. The Wombats (1-2) – Sunday, January 06, and 2019

It took half the season, but Blue Barracudas finally earned their first win! They defeated The Wombats 3-2. Blue Barracudas showed up on D in this game, beating their season goals against average of 4.8 goals per game. Christopher Hines fired two goals and Carly C fired one goal to lead the club’s attack. For Fuch’s Sake (1-3-1) is next up on the docket for Blue Barracudas, as they look to keep it going. The losing team still had notable players including Zach Erny and Michael Messmer, who scored one goal each for The Wombats.  Next up for The Wombats is a match-up against Football Sundays 2.0 (2-2-0), as they look to get back on track.

 

The Wombats (1-2) vs. Rugrats (0-4) – Sunday, January 06, and 2019

After 3 weeks of losses, both teams were eager for a chance to gain a win in this game. Finally breaking their losing streak, The Wombats grabbed a win against Rugrats with a final score of 5-0. This was one of two games for Rugrats this week. This week, The Wombats came ready for a double header. This was the better played match. Their goalkeeper Andrew Sams is credited with the clean sheet. To help get the club the win, Millie Dunbar kicked two goals, and Zach Erny, Torin Lacher and Connor Lacher kicked one goal each. Next Sunday, Rugrats faces off against Atletico WB (3-0-1) in an attempt to get on the board with a win.  Next up for The Wombats is a throwdown versus Football Sundays 2.0 (2-2-0).

 

Blue Guys (2-0) vs. Rugrats (0-4) – Sunday, January 06, and 2019

Blue Guys beat Rugrats 6-2 in this game. This is the second week in a row Blue Guys took home the win. Mike scored a hat trick with four goals to steer the group’s attack. Also providing some scoring for Blue Guys were Charles Ishola and Elyse Daly with one goal each. Next week, Blue Guys faces off against Hungry Hungry Suarez (2-2-0) in an attempt to stay unbeaten. This was one of two games for Rugrats this week. They lost both matches putting them at a 4-game losing streak. Next Sunday, Rugrats takes on Atletico WB (3-0-1) in an attempt to get their first win.
