Fall 2018 Saturday Lincoln Park Coed Rec Flag Football – Week 5

The Shockers (3-2) v. Off In The Shower (3-2) – Saturday, October 13, and 2018

By the score of 20-7, The Shockers got a big victory.  These guys really battled for this one, winning, despite scoring less than their avg. ppg of 28.80. QB Sean Conroy threw two touchdowns and Ginnel Gurnay threw one, hitting Alec Wasner, Jason Ross, and Emmanuel each for one of them. Off In The Shower really were unable to get rolling in this game, scoring less than their average of 27.40 points per game for the season. For Off In The Shower, QB Dave Wolfson hit Jake Ruzas for one touchdown. Next up for The Shockers is a date against BEEFCAKES (1-3-1). Next up for Off In The Shower is a showdown against We Touchdown There (0-4-0), as they attempt to rebound.

 

Shark Attack (5-0) v. Flags & Flasks (2-3) – Saturday, October 13, and 2018

Shark Attack and Flags & Flasks took part in in a nail-biter. Shark Attack put 12 on the board and held their opponent to 7 points. These guys buckled down in this one, earning the victory, despite scoring less than their avg. ppg of 30.60. QB Mike Pauletti passed two TDs, with Jake on the receiving end of most of them. Flags & Flasks really didn’t have their best stuff in this game, scoring less than their average of 23.00 points per game for the season. During the loss, QB Ryan Murphy hit Janelle for one touchdown. On Saturday, Shark Attack face off against Rebels (3-3-0) in an attempt to stay unblemished.   Next up for Flags & Flasks is a showdown against Mongrels (5-0-0), as they look to get into the winner’s circle.

 

Mongrels (5-0) v. We Touchdown There (0-4) – Saturday, October 13, and 2018

Mongrels defeated We Touchdown There. Mongrels put 22 on the board and held We Touchdown There to 8 points.  Mongrels showed up on the defensive end in this one, beating their season points against average of 13.8 points per game. QB Mark MacLeod passed two touchdowns, hitting Karlo Stetic and Panos M both for one of them and ran in one on his own. We Touchdown There really were unable to get rolling in terms of scoring in this game, scoring less than their average of 10.00 points per game for the year. For We Touchdown There, QB Andrew Poole hit Doug Beath for one touchdown. Mongrels will seek to stay undefeated next week with a throwdown against Flags & Flasks (2-3-0). We Touchdown There will seek to get their first win next Saturday with a match-up against Run and Gun (1-3-1).

 

Rebels (3-3) v. INDY Team #6 (1-4) – Saturday, October 13, and 2018

Grabbing the same result as they did earlier in the year Rebels shut out INDY Team #6 with a final score of 21-0.  Rebels buckled down in this one, earning the W, despite scoring less than their average points per game of 28.80. QB Charlie King-Hagen delivered one TD, which was caught by Whitney Mckee and rushed for two with his legs. Shark Attack (5-0-0) are next up on the calendar for Rebels, as they look to keep it going. Next up for INDY Team #6 is a match-up against The Shockers (3-2-0), as they look to get into the winner’s circle.

 

BEEFCAKES (1-3-1) v. Run and Gun (1-3-1) – Saturday, October 13, and 2018

BEEFCAKES and Run and Gun took part in a draw and concluded tied up at 25-25.  For BEEFCAKES, QB Eric Hennessey passed two touchdowns, finding Josh Thomas and Ed Baranowski each for one touchdown. Run and Gun gave it their all on in terms of scoring in this one, topping their average of 19.00 ppg for the year. For Run and Gun, QB Matt May hit Ralph May for one touchdown. Exiting week 5, BEEFCAKES will look ahead to The Shockers (3-2-0) who are next on the calendar.  For Run and Gun coming up next on the docket is We Touchdown There (0-4-0).
