Fall 2018 Saturday Lincoln Park Coed Rec Flag Football – Week 4

Off In The Shower (3-1) v. INDY Team #6 (1-3) – Saturday, October 06, and 2018

With a final score of 35-14, Off In The Shower have their eyes on the coveted championship shirts.  These guys really showed up on defense in this game, beating their season points against average of 21.3 ppg. QB Tom Ryan passed six scores, passing to Jamie McConnell for two of them, and Nancy Lewis, Mike Pauletti, Dave, and Jack for one score each.  In the loss for INDY Team #6, QB Josh hit Noam Paoletti for one touchdown and scampered in for one. Next up for Off In The Shower is a pairing versus The Shockers (2-2-0).   Rebels (2-3-0) is next up on the docket for INDY Team #6, as they look to get back on track.

 

Shark Attack (4-0) v. The Shockers (2-2) – Saturday, October 06, and 2018

Shark Attack and The Shockers competed in a high scoring game, totaling 62 points. By the score of 34-28, Shark Attack got a W to remain unbeaten.  They really battled for this one, emerging victorious despite allowing more points than their season points against average of 17.5 points per game. QB Tom Ryan delivered four TDs, finding Jake for three of them, and Gretchen for one of them. The Shockers really were unable to put up much of a defense in this game, allowing more points than their average of 23.30 points against per game this season. During the loss for The Shockers, QB Sean Conroy hit Zachary Sooter for two touchdowns and rushed for one more. Next week, Shark Attack take on Flags & Flasks (2-2-0) in an attempt to stay unbeaten. Next up for The Shockers is a battle against Off In The Shower (3-1-0), as they try to bounce back.

 

Flags & Flasks (2-2) v. Rebels (2-3) – Saturday, October 06, and 2018

Flags & Flasks and Rebels combined for an offensive explosion totaling 69 points. With a final score of 41-28, Flags & Flasks hope to keep their momentum going as they advance in playoffs. Flags & Flasks really brought it in this one, beating their average of 27.00 points per game. QB Matt Sandt delivered three touchdowns, hitting Damien for two of them. Rebels really were unable to stop much on defense in this one, allowing more points than their average of 21.80 PAPG this season. In the loss, QB Charlie King-Hagen hit Ibrahim Jacobs for two touchdowns and Whitney McKee for one of them. Shark Attack (4-0-0) is next up on the schedule for Flags & Flasks, as they look to keep it going. Next up for Rebels is a showdown against INDY Team #6 (1-3-0), as they look to get back on track.

 

Mongrels (4-0) v. Run and Gun (1-3) – Saturday, October 06, and 2018

Run and Gun forfeited to Mongrels. Next week, Mongrels attempt to remain unblemished with a Game versus We Touchdown There. Next up for Run and Gun is a battle versus BEEFCAKES (1-3-0), as they look to get into the winner’s circle.

 

BEEFCAKES (1-3) v. We Touchdown There (0-0) – Saturday, October 06, and 2018

The underdog, BEEFCAKES beat the favored We Touchdown Therein a blow-out. BEEFCAKES put 48 on the board and held their opponent to 18 points.  BEEFCAKES brought their A game, beating their average of 22.50 points per game. QB Eric Hennessey threw four touchdowns, hitting Ed Baranowski and John Worley for two of them each and rushed for two with his legs. Run and Gun (1-3-0) are next up on the calendar for BEEFCAKES, as they look to keep it going. In the loss, We Touchdown There’s QB, Scott Perkinson, threw three TD’s, finding Brian for two and Doug Beath for one of them. Next Saturday, We Touchdown There attempt to get on the board with a win with a match-up against Mongrels (4-0-0).
