Turtle Shells (2-4) vs. INDY Team #7 (1-4) – Saturday, January 12, and 2019

Turtle Shells beat INDY Team #7 5-2 in this game. INDY Team #7 struggled defensively in this game, allowing more goals than their average of 4.2 goals against per game for the year. Colin was the star player for INDY Team #7 this week. He scored both goals for them. Turtle Shells had two games this week. This was the better played match, which helped them claim their #5 rank in the standings table. Ben Kellner netted two goals to lead the club’s attack. Also scoring for Turtle Shells was Samuel Gomez, Andy Schmits, and Ashley. Next up for INDY Team #7 is a showdown versus Squad Goals (3-2-0), as they try to bounce back. Delaps Dozen (1-3-1) are next up on the schedule for Turtle Shells, as they look to keep it going.

 

Cat Facts FC (4-2) vs. Turtle Shells (2-4) – Saturday, January 12, and 2019

In this match, Cat Facts FC beat Turtle Shells 4-1. Turtle Shells had a double header this week. This was the tougher match of the two, and they now sit in 5th place in the standings. Ben Kellner scored the only goal for Turtle Shells to get his team on the board.  Next up for Turtle Shells is a showdown versus Delaps Dozen (1-3-1), as they attempt to rebound. This win is the second in a row for Cat Facts FC, and it bumps them to 2nd place in the standings. Sarrah Ludwig kicked two goals and earned the most tallies on the scoresheet. Alex MacIntyre and Kevin Rademaker kicked one goal each for Cat Facts FC. Next up for Cat Facts FC is a pairing versus Jimmy Saville’s U10s (2-3-1).

 

Team America (5-0) vs. Squad Goals (3-2) – Saturday, January 12, and 2019

Team America and Squad Goals were extremely evenly matched in this one up to the last minute with a final score of 3-2. Squad Goals struggled to get it going in this one, scoring fewer than their average of 3.6 goals per game this season. The losing team still had notable players including Elsie Michaels and Adam Kunkel, who kicked one goal each for Squad Goals. Team America is having a phenomenal offensive season. They’re averaging 5 goals per game. Michael Gallimore kicked two goals and Adam K kicked one goal to help gain the team the victory. Next up for Squad Goals is a battle against INDY Team #7 (1-4-0), as they look to rebound. Team America will look to stay unbeaten next Saturday with a match-up versus Delaps Dozen (1-3-1).

 

Delaps Dozen (1-3-1) vs. Jimmy Saville’s U10s (2-3-1) – Saturday, January 12, and 2019

Delaps Dozen ended all tied up with Jimmy Saville’s U10s 2-2 in this week’s match-up. This is Jimmy Saville’s U10s’s first tie this season and they’re currently sitting in fourth place in the standings. In the tie, Rupert Price and Karim Maalouf scored one goal each for Jimmy Saville’s U10s. This week’s result puts Delaps Dozen in sixth place in the standings. For Delaps Dozen, Kim LaBarge and Raheel Hassan kicked one goal each to provide some scoring.  For Jimmy Saville’s U10s next up is Cat Facts FC (4-2-0).  Exiting week 5, Delaps Dozen looks ahead to Turtle Shells (2-4-0) who are next on the calendar.
