It was an exciting Semi-final game, in which the #2 seed, KH Kicks, squeaked by with a 1-point win against the #3 seed, Can I Kick It?. This game ended in a shoot-out due to a time game. The exciting win for KH Kicks advanced them to the championship game. Read the Championship recap below to see how they finished. Can I Kick It? struggled to get it going on offense in this one and failed to make it in the goal. Can I Kick It? is done with playoffs, which means it’s time for a team meeting at the bar to regroup for next season.

KH Kicks (7-2-1) vs. Lurie Children’s (5-3) – Monday, November 5, and 2018

It was a Championship Game written for the movies. Could the #2 seeded team, KH Kicks outplay the #1 seeded team, Lurie Children’s? In this game, yes they could! Lurie Children’s really were unable to get rolling on offense in this one, scoring fewer than their average of 2.0 goals per game this season. John White scored the only goal for Lurie Children’s to help get his team on the board. Lurie Children’s came so close to the championship title. They’re not an easy team to beat and looking ahead to next season, they are definitely a team that will be at the top of the standings table. In the win for KH, Stacey W was the only one to score for her team in regular game play. Both matches were hard fought victories and increased their total goals scored to 30. Congratulations to KH Kicks on a great season and their championship win! We hope to see this squad return to defend their title.
