Fall 2018 Monday Lincoln Park Coed Int Soccer – Week 6

Edelman! (3-2-1) v. White Sox (2-5) – Monday, November 26, and 2018

In this extremely close contest Edelman!, emerged as the victors against the #4 seed, White Sox, by only a 5-point margin, 35-30. Edelman! really brought their A game, beating their average of 25.80 points per game. QB Fiona Kennedy threw two TDs and Jack Hennessy threw one TD, finding David Jackson Jr, Jack Hennessy, and Andrew each for one of them.  In the loss, QB Meg hit Josephine Cullerton for one touchdown. This week’s loss didn’t help their record for playoffs and White Sox ended up as the #4 seed. They’ll face the #5 seeded team, Flaming Flags (1-5-0).

 

Sack Daddies (4-2) v. Walker Sands (1-4-1) – Monday, November 26, and 2018

It was an exciting last week of the regular season, in which the #3 seed, Sack Daddies, squeaked by with a 1-point win against the #7 seed, Walker Sands. The final score of 27-26 reflects the hard work Sack Daddies put into every minute of the game.  This team battled for this one, winning despite allowing more points than their season points against average of 20.0 ppg. QB Gannon Davis delivered four scores, finding Conor Philbin for two of them. Walker Sands really played their A game even though they lost, beating their average of 19.70 points per game for the year. Sack Daddies’s win this week locked in their spot as the #3 seed going into playoffs. They’ll face the #2 seeded team, Eleven Eleven. Despite their loss this week, Walker Sands finished the regular season in 7th place, and will play the winner of the

 

Fire and B/RimSTONE (2-4) v. Flaming Flags (1-5) – Monday, November 26, and 2018

Fire and B/RimSTONE took on Flaming Flags in this last week of regular season games.  By the score of 41-14, Fire and B/RimSTONE got a lopsided victory.  Fire and B/RimSTONE stepped up in this one, exceeding their average of 15.30 points per game. QB Baker Leyman passed four TDs, finding Brian Timmreck for two of them. Flaming Flags gave it their all in this game even though they lost, exceeding their average of 12.70 points per game this season. During the loss for Flaming Flags, QB Mike Niche hit Nicole Herkert and Justyne Freud for one touchdown each. This week’s loss didn’t help their record for playoffs and Flaming Flags ended up as the #5 seed. They’ll face the #4 seeded team, White Sox (2-5-0).

 

GC Secret Baristas (6-0) v. Eleven Eleven (5-1) – Monday, November 26, and 2018

Heading into this last week of regular season games, Eleven Eleven were coming off their top offensive game of the season, scoring 32 points last week. Unfortunately, GC Secret Barista confidently took the win with a final score of 25-0. GC Secret Baristas are the highest-scoring team in the league, averaging 39.5 points per game. QB Dan threw three TDs, finding Steve, Nicki, and Nick for one TD each and rushed for one more. GC Secret Baristas had a perfect regular season and locked in first place going into playoffs. They will play the winner of the #4 vs. #5 seed game. Despite the loss this week, Eleven Eleven locked in their spot at the #2 seed. They’ll face the #3 seeded team, Sack Daddies (4-2-0).
