Fall 2018 CIBC Tuesday Coed Rec Soccer – Week 3

Double Credenza FC (1-2) vs. SALT United (1-2) – Tuesday, December 11, and 2018

Earning their first win of the season, Double Credenza FC beat SALT United 7-1. SALT United struggled to get it going on offense in this one, scoring less than their average of 2.3 GPG this year. Alexander Nicholas scored the only goal for SALT United to save their team from embarrassment. Double Credenza FC brought it in this game, surpassing their average of 2.3 goals per game.  Kevin Jack and Dave kicked two goals each to lead the group’s attack. Also adding to the final score with one goal each was Andrew Sassin, Zach and Audrey. Beercelona (1-0-3) is next up on the calendar for SALT United, as they attempt to bounce back. The Ball Handlers (0-3-0) are next up on the schedule for Double Credenza FC, as they look to keep it going.

 

JLL Soccer (2-0-1) vs. Kick in a Box (0-2-1) – Tuesday, December 11, and 2018

JLL Soccer beat Kick in a Box 9-3 in this game. This is the second week in a row JLL Soccer took home the win. Alex earned a hat trick with three goals to help earn the crew the win. Also providing some scoring was John Pisani, Michael Alpern, Kyle Overby, and Ashley Burk. This heartbreaking loss comes when Kick in a Box scored their personal best of the season. The losing team still had notable players including Sany Nguyen, Vincent Taweekm and Sean Dempsey, who each scored one goal for Kick in a Box. Next week, JLL Soccer attempts to remain undefeated with a Game versus BMcD (1-1-1). Kick in a Box seeks to get off the schneid on Tuesday versus Chubby Alonsos (2-0-1).

 

INDY Team #12 (1-0-1) vs. Beercelona (1-0-3) – Tuesday, December 11, and 2018

INDY Team #12 ended all tied up with Beercelona 2-2. This is Beercelona’s third tie this season and they’re currently sitting in sixth place in the standings. In the tie, Anna Schilling and Connor Welby both scored one goal for Beercelona. INDY Team #12 used their 2 goals scored in this game to boost their total goals this season to 4. For INDY Team #12, Selena Sacchetti and Nick Steudemann scored one goal each to lead the team’s offense. For Beercelona they will face off with SALT United (1-2-0).  Exiting week 3, INDY Team #12 looks ahead to INDY Team #6 (2-0-1) who are next on the schedule.

 

BMcD (1-1-1) vs. The Ball Handlers (0-3) – Tuesday, December 11, and 2018

Going into this game, both teams were hungry for their first win of the season. With a final score of 7-2, BMcD emerged with a win against The Ball Handlers. The Ball Handlers were unable to put up much of a defense in this game, giving up more goals than their average of 5.0 GAPG for the year. Next Tuesday, The Ball Handlers takes on Double Credenza FC (1-2-0) in an attempt to get their first win. BMcD really brought their A game in this game, besting their average of 4.0 goals per game. Nel Ciurdar got a hat trick with three goals and earned the most tallies on the scoresheet. Troy Jansen kicked two goals and Allie Shea and Jose G kicked one goal in the win. JLL Soccer (2-0-1) are next up on the docket for BMcD, as they look to keep it going.

 

Chubby Alonsos (2-0-1) vs. GCM Grosvenor (2-1) – Tuesday, December 11, and 2018

Chubby Alonsos and GCM Grosvenor were extremely neck and neck in this contest up to the last minute with a final score of 3-2. This is GCM Grosvenor’s first loss of the season. The losing team still had notable players including Caitlin Murphy and Mary, who both kicked one goal for GCM Grosvenor. Chubby Alonsos are heating up with two wins in a row. Ariel Godinez fired two goals and Greg K kicked one goal to help earn the club the win.  PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE (0-2-1) is next up on the docket for GCM Grosvenor, as they look to rebound. Next week, Chubby Alonsos seeks to remain undefeated with a showdown against Kick in a Box (0-2-1).

 

INDY Team #6 (2-0-1) vs. PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE (0-2-1) – Tuesday, December 11, and 2018

INDY Team #6 shut out PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE with a final score of just 1-0. PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE were unable to get rolling in this one and suffered a shutout. PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE tries to get their first win next Tuesday with a match-up versus GCM Grosvenor (2-1-0). INDY Team #6 is heating up with two wins in a row. The club’s goalkeeper Alissa Frederick got a shutout in this one. To help earn the club the W, Isaac Fox made one goal. INDY Team #6 will attempt to remain undefeated on Tuesday with a pairing versus INDY Team #12 (1-0-1).
