registration: Fall season now open season: Summer season now in play
CSSC Softball is the best and biggest in the city with over 700 teams annually. If you want to get outside and play softball in some of the finest outdoor parks that Chicago offers, then you've come to the right place.
The CSSC offers several options for play from Men's 12", Coed 12" to Coed 16" so whether you're a recreational player or serious about the game, we've got it here for you. This is a great way to get outside and enjoy good times with good friends all while staying active.

Guys and Girls needed for CoEd Softball Team
Our team, "SLap n' Tickle", is looking for 2 guys and 1 girl to fill out our roster for this season. We play on Sunday nights on the Lincoln Park fields between 5 and 10.
We are looking for competetive players but people that still like to have fun and go out for some drinks after the game. Right now we are about 50/50 guys and girls and girls. We have quite a few new people so don't feel like you'll be out of the "circle".
Message me if you are interested in joining! Our first game is 09/12. The cost will be about $65 per person for a 6 game + 1 Playoff game season and a T-shirt.

I recently moved up from Miami where I played on a social, coed rec league for about 4 years all year round. I played catcher and was the assistant/backup coach. I really enjoy playing and the team atmosphere of having fun and enjoying winning but not stressing out about losing. I'd love to join a fun team to meet some fun people. Need a few more to make a team
I just moved to Chicago a few weeks ago, I can get prob 6-7 people to commit and looking to fill the rest of the team, i was thinking maybe 12. We all work for the airlines. In addition we'll need a few subs due to irregular schedules. We are all 22-30yo, not all that competitive and like to have fun. Guys or girls welcome. This is the first team I have put together. Softball Players needed - Tues or Wed
a bunch of us are lookingto sign up to play 16" softball next season. We currently plays on Tuesday nights and we are looking to sign up for either the Tuesday night league (starts 06/29) or the Wedensday league (starts 06/30).
We are losing a bunch of people for the summer and as such are currently looking for at least 3 women and a couple of guys to join the team.
Though this is a rec/ intermediate league, we are a pretty solid team who likes to win but also gives the drinking / fun equal importance.
