Pilsen Kidz (6-0) vs. F.C. Rogues (6-1) – Tuesday, October 27, 2020

Pilsen Kidz beat F.C. Rogues 9-1 in Week 6 of the Tuesday Wells TURF Coed REC 7v7 Soccer League and as a result, locked up the #1 overall seed for the upcoming postseason tournament. Let us start with Sergio Noriega of Pilsen Kidz who now leads the league with 13 goals after he fired in a hat trick to steer the clubs attack in this contest. Erik Noriega also tallied a hat trick for Pilsen Kidz in this contest to bring his season goal scoring total up to 11. Pilsen Kidz will begin their postseason journey coming up on Monday night in the Semifinals where they will await the winner of the #4 seed Unathletico (3-3-1) vs. #5 seed INDY Team #3 (1-5-1) match. This was one of two games for F.C. Rogues in Week 6. In contrast to their second game, they could not string together the plays they needed for a win, but at least the loss did not ding their standings too bad as they still sit at the top of the table in 2nd place. Emmie Galan scored the only goal for F.C. Rogues to prevent the shutout in this contest. F.C. F.C. Rogues (6-1) vs. INDY Team #3 (1-5-1) – Tuesday, October 27, 2020

Just like earlier in the season on opening night, F.C. Rogues won the rematch against INDY Team #3. This game finished with a final score of 10-1. This was the second game of the night for F.C. Rogues. This was the better played match, which helped them lock the overall #2 seed for the upcoming postseason tournament. Norman Astudillo scored a hat trick for F.C. Rogues to lead the squad’s offense. F.C. Rogues will begin their postseason journey coming up on Monday night against #7 seed West Grand United (1-6) in the Quarterfinals. INDY Team #3 really were unable to get rolling on offense in this game, scoring less than their average of 1.6 goals per game for the year. Kevin scored the only goal for INDY Team #3 to get their team on the board. The loss sees INDY Team #3 conclude their regular season schedule with an overall record of 1-5-1 and will begin their postseason journey coming up on Monday night as the overall #5 seed. INDY Team #3 will take the pitch against #4 seed Unathletico (3-3-1) in the Quarterfinals with the winner of this match staying on the pitch to immediately take on #1 seed Pilsen Kidz (6-0) in the Semifinals.

 

Unathletico (3-3-1) vs. West Grand United (1-6) – Tuesday, October 27, 2020

Grabbing the same result as they did back on opening night, Unathletico won the rematch against West Grand United in Week 6 of the Tuesday Wells TURF Coed REC 7v7 Soccer League. This game finished with a thrilling final score of 8-6. Unathletico have had a strong offense all season long. They are averaging 3.6 goals per game. Kenny was unstoppable for Unathletico in this contest and scored 4 goals to guide the crew’s attack. Minnie Hovarth also contributed to the team’s final score by knocking in their first two goals of the season. These crucial 3 points earned by Unathletico in this contest brings their season point total up to 10, and as a result they will begin their postseason journey coming up on Monday night as the overall #4 seed. They will take the pitch against #5 seed INDY Team #3 (1-5-1) in the Quarterfinals with the winner of this match staying on the field to take on #1 seed Pilsen Kidz (6-0) in the Semifinals. West Grand United really gave everything they had on offense in this game despite losing, firing in more goals than their average of 3.2 GPG for the season. The losing team still had notable players including Austin Hernandez, who tallied a hat trick for West Grand United. H-Tizzy put on a show on both sides of the pitch against Kenosha Kickers in Week 6 of the Tuesday Wells TURF Coed REC 7v7 Soccer League with a final score of 3-0. H-Tizzy are playing an astounding offensive season. They’re averaging 5 goals per game. Stephen fired in a brace for H-Tizzy in this contest to help their crew secure this crucial Week 6 victory. The defenders are the unsung heroes however of this match for helping GK Ben earn a clean sheet! This crucial regular season ending win locks H-Tizzy into the overall #3 seed for the upcoming postseason tournament. H-Tizzy will take the field coming up on Monday night against this very same #6 seed Kenosha Kickers (1-5) squad in the Quarterfinals. Kenosha Kickers struggled to get it going on offense in this game and came short of making it onto the scoreboard. It was the second time this season that Kenosha Kickers have been shutout.
