Ball Somewhat Hard and bend it like Beckham settled for a 2-2 draw on opening day of the Sunday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC 8v8 Soccer League. Ball Somewhat Hard used their 2 goals scored in this game to boost their total goals this season to 2. Spenser Buenzli and Scott Payne lasered in the two goals for Ball Somewhat Hard to provide the scoring. This is bend it like Beckham’s first point this season and they did everything they could to get the full three points. Dillon Keefe was the star player for bend it like Beckham this week. He knocked in both goals for his team this week. Exiting week 1, Ball Somewhat Hard will look ahead to Chicago Brewers (0-1-0) who are next on the calendar.  For bend it like Beckham they will go toe to toe with Cat Facts FC (1-0-0).

 

Cat Facts FC (1-0) vs. Chicago Brewers (0-1) – Sunday, September 20, 2020

Alex Perkowski scored the lone goal of the game in Cat Facts FC’s 1-0 victory over Chicago Brewers on opening day of the Sunday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC 8v8 Soccer League. The Cat Facts FC defenders did a great job in this game by helping GK Kaleb Wilson earn a clean sheet. Exiting week 1, Cat Facts FC will look ahead to keep their early season momentum rolling. bend it like Beckham (0-0-1) are next on the calendar for Cat Facts FC.  It is only week one, and Chicago Brewers still has significant amounts of games to get better on the offensive side of the ball. They had their chances in this contest, they just could not get the ball past the Cat Facts FC keeper.  For Chicago Brewers, they will have a contest with Ball Somewhat Hard (0-0-1) coming up in Week 2 as they strive to get to collect their first point(s) of the season.

 

FC Indy (1-0) vs. Fineberg (0-1) – Sunday, September 20, 2020

FC Indy collected its first victory of the season on Sunday with a 2-0 win over Fineberg on opening day of the Sunday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC 8v8 Soccer League. Olalekan Oyeside and Tim Haaf each accounted for one goal to guide the team’s offense. FC Indy’s goalie Juan Pablo Morales deserves a shout out for helping blank the Fineberg’s offense. Trash Foot (0-1-0) are next on the docket for FC Indy coming up in Week 2 as they look to record back-to-back victories. Despite losing, Fineberg has a significant amount of time to go back to the drawing board on both sides of the pitch. Fineberg will look to shake this loss off quickly as they will have a date against INDY Team #5 (1-0-0) coming up in Week 2.

 

INDY Team #5 (1-0) vs. No Punt Intended (0-1) – Sunday, September 20, 2020

INDY Team #5 put on an offensive showing in its season opener, as INDY Team #5 topped No Punt Intended 3-1 at the Lincoln Park TURF Field on Sunday to move to 1-0 on the season. Alfonso Chiong Li netted two goals and earned the most tallies on the scoresheet for INDY Team #5 in this contest. Quentin Drane also knocked in a goal for INDY Team #5 to help secure the Week 1 victory. For INDY Team #5, each game coming up is a critical game to gain ground in the Standings at the beginning of the year. Coming up in Week 2 INDY Team #5 will battle Fineberg (0-1-0). It is only the first week, and No Punt Intended has plenty of time to improve on this contest. Galymjohn Kuras scored the only goal for No Punt Intended to get their team on the board.  As for No Punt Intended next on the calendar is Plague (1-0-0) as they attempt to bounce back from this Week 1 defeat.

 

Plague (1-0) vs. Trash Foot (0-1) – Sunday, September 20, 2020

Plague shut out Trash Foot with a thrilling final score of just 1-0 on opening day of the Sunday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC 8v8 Soccer League. To provide some scoring, Nick Stuedemann prevented the loss for Plague by scoring their only goal of this game. The club’s goalie, Bogdan Horopciuc, made sure Trash Foot would not score and earned the well-deserved clean sheet. Exiting week 1, Plague will look ahead to keep their early season momentum turning. This week Plague will take on No Punt Intended (0-1-0).  Despite the loss, Trash Foot have plenty of time to practice their offensive skills before the play-offs begin.  As for Trash Foot they will move on to a game with FC Indy (1-0-0) as they look to bounce back from this heartbreaking defeat and earn their first point(s) of the season.
