Spring 2021 Tuesday Wells HS TURF Coed INT 7v7 Soccer – PLAYOFFS WEEK 1

Team 30+ (6-1) vs. Kenosha Kickers (0-7) – Tuesday, May 11, 2021

#2 Team 30+ kept their season alive with a convincing 7-2 win over #7 Kenosha Kickers in the Quarterfinals of the Tuesday Wells HS TURF Coed 7v7 Soccer League. Jared Senthal racked up a hat trick to help gain the club the do-or-die W. Brandon Tuleja fired in their fourth and fifth goals of the season as well for #2 Team 30+ in this contest to help their squad seal this victory. Next up for #2 Team 30+ is a battle against #3 RNA Squad (5-2-1) in the Semifinals coming up on Tuesday night. The winner of this match stays on the pitch and competes for the League title! Despite the loss, #7 Kenosha Kickers really played their A game on the offensive end in this one, besting their average of 1.4 GPG for the season. The losing team still had notable players including Steven Pelrine and Daniel K., who scored one goal for #7 Kenosha Kickers. With this Quarterfinals defeat, the season comes to an end for #7 Kenosha Kickers. This squad battled hard each week and we hope to see them back on the pitch next season competing for another league title!

 

RNA Squad (5-2-1) vs. Indy Team (Subject To Change) (1-5-1) – Tuesday, May 11, 2021

Earlier in the season back in Week 5, these teams tied, but #3 RNA Squad grabbed a huge 5-2 win against #6 Indy Team (Subject To Change) in this rematch in the Quarterfinals of the Tuesday Wells HS TURF Coed 7v7 Soccer League. #3 RNA Squad are heating up with two wins in a row. Julio Miranda-Alban was unstoppable for #3 RNA Squad in this contest and scored all 5 goals to guide the club’s offense. With this Quarterfinals victory, #3 RNA Squad advance into the Semifinals coming up on Tuesday night where they will now face #2 Team 30+ (6-1-0). The winner of this match will play in the Championship game for the league title! Despite losing, #6 Indy Team (Subject To Change) has been doing great on offense for the season, with a total of 25 goals. The losing team still had notable players including Milan Tubic and Anton Sell, who each tallied one goal for #6 Indy Team (Subject To Change). The season comes to an abrupt end for #6 Indy Team (Subject To Change) with this Quarterfinals defeat, but overall, they had a fantastic campaign. We hope to see this crew back on the pitch next season competing for another league title!

 

Foot Fairies (5-3) vs. INDY Team #3 (2-6) – Tuesday, May 11, 2021

#4 Foot Fairies offensive power was in full display as they stifled INDY Team #3, 7-1 in the Quarterfinals of the Tuesday Wells HS TURF Coed 7v7 Soccer League. With this victory, #4 Foot Fairies have now ripped off three consecutive victories. The leagues overall leading goal scorer, David Hotz, racked up a hat trick to steer the club’s offense. Jessica Belsito also fired in a brace of their own to help put the stamp on this huge Quarterfinals win for #4 Foot Fairies. #1 PFiveZero (6-1-0) are next up on the calendar for #4 Foot Fairies coming up on Tuesday night in the Semifinals, as they look to book their ticket into the Championship game. #5 INDY Team #3 really struggled to get it going on offense in this game, scoring less than their average of 2.3 GPG this year. Nicolas Medina scored the only goal for #5 INDY Team #3 to prevent the shutout. While this is certainly not the way #5 INDY Team #3 saw their season ending, overall, they had a fantastic Spring campaign. We hope to see this squad back on the field next season competing for another league title!
