Goode FC came away with a hard-fought point as Good FC battled to a 0-0 draw against Top Bins on opening night of the Friday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC-INT 8v8 Soccer League. The pressure for both squads really picked up in the second half of this contest. GK Stefanie Schroeder for Goode FC kept the Top Bins off the board to ensure their squad would record their first point of the season. Goode FC erupted for 6 goals in the second game of their double-header in Week 1 of the Friday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC-INT 8v8 Soccer League as they cruised to a 6-2 victory over Torts Illustrated. This was the better played match of the two for Goode FC in Week 1, which helped them claim their #1 rank in the League Standings table following opening night action. Jason Seter racked up a hat trick to lead the Goode FC attack in this one. Anuar Acosta pitched in with a brace of their own to help secure their squads first win of the season. For Goode FC, each week is a big chance to grab wins early on. Goode FC will look to make it two wins in a row coming up in Week 2. Despite losing, Torts Illustrated have a significant number of weeks remaining on their schedule to practice their defensive skills before play-offs begin.
