Zambezi FC (1-3) vs. Vitamin O (1-3) – Saturday, August 15, 2020

It took more than half the season, but Zambezi FC finally earned their first win!  They defeated Vitamin O 3-1 on Saturday morning.  Vitamin O have had a rough start to their season.  They have played four games and have a -11 goal differential.  Cody Balogh scored the only goal for Vitamin O to help them avoid the shutout.  This win for Team Zambezi FC came as a surprise considering they came into this matchup winless on the season and had only scored a total of 1 goal coming into this game.  Christian Vazquez racked up a hat trick to help get the crew their first Win on the season!  Next up for Vitamin O is a battle against Ekstra FC (3-1-0), as they attempt to rebound from this tough loss.  Bootin’ Boots (3-1-0) are next up on the calendar for Zambezi FC, as they look to record back-to-back victories for the first time this season.

 

Bootin’ Boots (3-1) vs. Ekstra FC (3-1) – Saturday, August 15, 2020

Bootin’ Boots came out on fire on Saturday morning and won the rematch against Ekstra FC by a final score of 4-1.  Four different players were able to get onto the scorer’s sheet and this victory was an all-around team effort.  Ekstra FC were not on their A-game on Saturday and suffered their first loss of the season.  Fabian Carbaja scored the only goal for Ekstra FC to save them from a shutout.  Zambezi FC (1-3-0) are next up on the docket for Bootin’ Boots, as they look to build on this very important victory. Next up for Ekstra FC is a showdown against Vitamin O (1-3-0), as they attempt to rebound from their first loss of the season.
