Special Olympics Unified Challenge

As part of the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Special Olympics the Unified Challenge provides an opportunity for CSSC athletes to experience first-hand competing in Unified Sport with skilled Special Olympics athletes. Produced by the Special Olympics 50th Anniversary Committee Member, Chicago Sport and Social Club, participants will have a once-in-a-lifetime experience to play on Soldier Field and be a part of the Inclusion Revolution. All participants will enjoy the thrill of playing their sport on Soldier Field in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Special Olympics during the Global Day of inclusion on July 21, 2018.

Date: July 21

Location: Soldier Field - Chicago, IL

Times - 2:00-6:00pm

Teams include 6 Special Olympics athletes and 4 CSSC athletes and 1 coach

Sports and Formats of Play:

Soccer players will play 5 vs. 5 with 3 Special Olympics athletes and 2 CSSC athletes for 30 minutes Teams will consist of 10 players total with 6 Special Olympics athletes and 4 CSSC athletes per team. Indvidual/Free Agent and Team registration is available - $50/Individual and $200/Team - all proceeds benefit Special Olympics.

Flag Football will play 5 vs. 5 with 3 Special Olympics athletes and 2 CSSC athletes for 30 minutes.
